This is a home run derby where you compete against an automated pitching machine.

Face off against pitching machines that come at you one after another.

At first, they throw only straight fastballs, but gradually introduce curveballs and powerful magic balls.

Though a simple game, it was hugely popular in the flip-phone 'Garake' era and is highly recommended, whether you're a baseball fan or not!

Along with "Gachinko Home Run Tournament" and "Gachinko Home Run Tournament 2" (which are fee-based but free by watching videos), you can now also play the sequel & derivative games "Gachinko Magic Ball Competition" and "Gachinko Pitcher".

◆ Gachinko Magic Ball Competition

This is a game where you compete against incredible magic balls (aka 'Ma! Home Run Competition'). Magic balls have been added, song tracks included, and titles updated.

◆ Gachinko Pitcher

This game flips the script: you become the pitcher trying to strike out the batter. It features real baseball-style counts, ability growth (RPG elements), various pitch types, and titles for long-term enjoyment.

◆ Gachinko Home Run Tournament

Your goal is to defeat rival high schools and conquer the Koshien tournament! You can develop your own batter and also train a pitcher (though you don't control pitching). Manage abilities that can be trained up or down, and accumulate experience points.

While not primarily focused on magic balls, many new and unique magic balls not seen in the original series will appear. In response to numerous requests, left-handed batters are now supported and you can select the switch-hitting option.

◆ Gachinko Home Run Tournament 2

A sequel to the original tournament game, this entry combines the "Gachinko Pitcher" gameplay with the home run derby series, allowing you to control the pitcher. Compete in a winner-takes-all tournament format.

You can freely distribute earned experience points between your batter and pitcher. Many new magic balls appear, and now the pitcher can also throw them.

Alongside making the above apps playable, we've slightly increased the amount of experience points you can earn, including in the original "Ginko Home Run Competition". We also tweaked parameters so that pulled hits travel a slightly greater distance.
