The Story:

The adventure begins near the Riders' village. Three friends—the hero, Lilia, and Cheval—discover a glowing egg. Their playful attempt at the Rite of Kinship unexpectedly succeeds! The egg hatches, revealing a baby Rathalos, nicknamed "Ratha."

Tragedy strikes when a Black Blight-infected monster attacks the village, leaving lasting impacts. A year later, the hero becomes a Rider, while Lilia and Cheval pursue separate paths. Teaming up with the spirited Navirou, the hero embarks on a new quest, forging friendships and overcoming challenges in the world of Monster Hunter Stories.
