May 2025 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Revealed

Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for May 2025, showcasing a diverse array of titles that will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers starting May 20. The announcement was made via a PlayStation.Blog post, highlighting six new games for Extra tier members and one classic title for Premium members.

For those subscribed to the Extra tier, the catalog will expand with nine new titles, catering to a wide range of gaming preferences. Leading the pack is Sand Land, an action RPG based on the beloved manga by Akira Toriyama, available on both PS4 and PS5. Other notable additions include Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy, which will also be accessible on both PS4 and PS5. An enhanced version of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy was announced today for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X | S, with a release date set for May 20. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original console trilogy will receive the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost, though it remains uncertain if this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Premium members will have the exclusive chance to delve into the classic Battle Engine Aquila, a sci-fi action game where players pilot a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies both in the air and on the ground. This title will be available on both PS4 and PS5.
