By BlakeDec 16,2025

Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One, the action-horror standalone game set in the iconic Alien universe, is receiving a major upgrade—now playable without VR hardware.

Mark your calendars: Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One: Evolved Edition arrives on PC and PlayStation 5 on September 30, 2025, introducing terrifyingly enhanced Xenomorphs and upgraded graphics. The non-VR version is available for wishlisting today on Steam and PlayStation Store.

The original VR edition debuted on PlayStation VR2 and PCVR via Steam in December 2024, followed by a Meta Quest 3 release in February.

Survios' Evolved Edition launches at $29.99 for Standard and $39.99 for Digital Deluxe, delivering the same intense Alien experience without VR requirements.

Bridging the timeline between Alien and Aliens, players embark on a harrowing mission to LV-354 (Purdan) to rescue a missing teammate. After a brutal ambush, protagonist Zula and synthetic ally Davis 01 must survive the nightmarish Castor’s Cradle facility—a sprawling maze of corporate horrors, relentless Xenomorphs, and unsolved mysteries.

IGN scored the VR iteration 7/10, praising it as "a promising foundation for bringing Alien’s terror to virtual reality."

Developers will showcase exclusive Evolved Edition gameplay at next month’s IGN Live event.
