After announcing the shutdown of its online version, Animal Crossing has shared some exciting news today. Recall that Nintendo planned to launch a paid offline version of the game? They’ve now revealed the release date. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, the new offline edition, is set to launch on Android on December 3rd.

The current free-to-play Pocket Camp will officially shut down on November 29th. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, the offline version, serves as a reimagined experience of the game. It’s a one-time purchase, priced at $9.99 if purchased before January 31st, 2025. After that date, the price increases to $19.99.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, as the name suggests, includes everything. That means years of seasonal items, special events, and all the content added since its 2017 debut. You’ll still be crafting your dream campsite, choosing from over 10,000 items.
So, Will There Be Any New Features in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete?
Yes, you can now create your own Camper Cards—your personal trading card to showcase your style. Pick a pose, choose a color, and you’re ready. You can even trade cards with other players! On that note, check out the latest trailer here.
And there’s a brand-new hangout spot called Whistle Pass—a place where your Camper Card friends gather, complete with guitar jams under the stars. Speaking of hangouts, Nintendo now allows you to transfer your old Pocket Camp save data into the new version. You have until June 2nd, 2025 to do so.Although Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is an offline game, Nintendo confirmed it will require occasional internet checks to verify time and account details. All seasonal events—from Halloween spookiness to summer festivals—will remain intact.
