The Sweet Discoveries event, running from April 24th to 29th, introduces the cute Dragon/Grass-type Applin. Catching Applin is just the start—evolving it into Flapple or Appletun requires 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples. Use Tart Apples for Flapple and Sweet Apples for Appletun. These apples can be found in the wild, particularly around Mossy Lures, and might even trigger Applin encounters.
During the Sweet Discoveries event, look out for wild spawns like Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. You can also snag themed Pokémon such as Munchlax and Cherubi through Field Research and Eggs. Timed Research offers both free and paid options to obtain Sweet and Tart Apples, with the paid version providing extra Mossy Lure Modules and additional Applin encounters.
