Gearbox CEO Recommends Refund for Unhappy PC Players

Borderlands 4 continues to face community criticism due to its subpar PC optimization, prompting Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford to advise an unhappy player to seek a refund on Steam. Responding to a fan's tweet on September 16, Pitchford remarked that "the game is the game," emphasizing that the team has provided ample settings for players to customize their experience.

Although the CEO immediately faced backlash for claiming the game runs optimally on PC, his latest statements have further fueled negative reactions from the community. Pitchford encouraged players to utilize DLSS and frame generation technologies, but many disagree that these features address the core optimization challenges.
