Hunt a New Beast!
Missed the first Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta? A second testing phase is confirmed for the first two weeks of February!
Following the success of the initial beta, a second opportunity arises for players to experience the game before its February 28th launch. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced this on the official Monster Hunter YouTube channel.

The second Open Beta Test will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th. It'll be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This beta includes new content, such as hunting the Gypceros, a series veteran.
Character data from the first beta carries over and transfers to the full game, but progress won't. Beta participants receive rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm, and a bonus item pack for the full game.

Tsujimoto explained the second beta, stating, "Many missed the first beta or wanted a replay, so we added this second chance. The team is diligently finalizing the full game." While a pre-launch community update video detailed upcoming improvements, these won't be in this beta.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 28th, 2025. Happy hunting!
