The Emergence mission in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 marks the campaign's halfway point and represents a significant departure from traditional gameplay. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough.

Navigating the Kentucky BioTech Facility

The mission begins with Case and Marshall entering a toxic gas-filled facility, necessitating gas masks. An elevator malfunction leads to a fall and a gas mask breakage, triggering hallucinations. After the cutscene, locate a locked red-lit door. Use a hatchet (found on a mannequin) to pry it open. Proceed through the hallway, up the stairs, and to the central elevator.

Accessing the Biotechnology Room

Activating the elevator unleashes hallucinatory zombie mannequins. Eliminate them with the hatchet. A phone call directs you to the biotechnology room, requiring four director's cards (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow). You'll initially receive a map to the Yellow card.

Acquiring the Yellow Card and Grappling Hook

Follow the map to a yellow staircase, leading to the Director's office. Solve the computer puzzle ("Access" and "Lift") to access the A.C.R. room (more zombies!). The yellow card is held by a mannequin that transforms into an abomination. Before engaging, collect armor, weapons, and crucially, the grappling hook (shown below) from the surrounding area.

Use explosives (C4 or grenades) to efficiently eliminate the abomination and its horde. Retrieve the Yellow Card from its remains.

Obtaining the Green Card

Use the grappling hook to ascend to the main facility. Next, acquire the Green Card from the Administration Facility. Grapple to the facility from the security desk. Answer the ringing phone. You must locate four documents and place them in the file display area.

Mannequins will pursue; quickly collect the documents (one on a corner desk, one near a round table, one on a central table, and one in the cafe). After placing the documents, grapple the attacking red mannequin repeatedly until it transforms into a Mangler Zombie. Defeat it to obtain the Green Card.

Securing the Blue Card

Grapple across to the Joint Projects Facility. Answer the phone. Locate the glass chamber with camera stands; the Blue Card is inside. A mimic will appear; lure it out by shooting moving objects and eliminate it to claim the Blue Card.

Retrieving the Red Card

Head to the East Wing, following the red carpets to a room with water, a console, and a Mangler. Interact with the console to reveal the Red Card. Use the grappling hook to reach the upper area, swim through the red tunnel, climb the ladders, and eliminate zombies. Unlock the door using the blacklight code and drain the water within 25 seconds using the switches. Defeat the Mangler and its horde to claim the Red Card.

Confronting the Disciple

Return to the security desk and insert all four cards. Take the elevator to the top floor. Answer the red phone. Engage the horde of zombies and the Disciple in the BioTech room. The ensuing cinematic reveals the encounter was a hallucination.
