Hotta Studios' upcoming 3D open-world RPG, Neverness to Everness, is gearing up for its inaugural closed beta test. Unfortunately, participation is currently limited to mainland China. However, eager fans worldwide can still follow the game's progress as it approaches release.
Gematsu recently highlighted new lore reveals for the game, expanding on the previously showcased city of Eibon (see trailer below). These additions delve deeper into the game's blend of comedic and bizarre elements within the Hetherau setting. Hotta Studios, a subsidiary of Perfect World (creators of the successful Tower of Fantasy), is bringing a unique twist to the increasingly popular urban-focused 3D RPG genre.
A standout feature is the open-world driving mechanic. Players can purchase and customize various vehicles, though caution is advised, as realistic crash physics are implemented.
Neverness to Everness faces significant competition upon release.
