Get ready, Clash of Clans fans! The much-anticipated March 2025 update is just around the corner, and it's set to shake things up in a way players have been clamoring for. This update is poised to be one of the most transformative yet, with several features on the way out to make room for exciting new gameplay dynamics.
No More Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Time!
Say goodbye to waiting times! With the upcoming update, you'll be able to launch back-to-back attacks without any delays, making your battles feel more dynamic and fast-paced. Additionally, hero recovery times are being eliminated, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. This change applies to all players up to the Titan League, although the Legend League will maintain its eight-battle limit per day for now.
This move is part of a broader shift in Clash of Clans aimed at removing outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, the elimination of training time marks another step towards uninterrupted gameplay, allowing players to engage without artificial barriers.
Alongside these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats are becoming a thing of the past. These items, now obsolete, will be removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.
Introducing the New Match Anytime System!
When there aren't enough real bases to attack, the new Match Anytime system comes into play. This feature lets you engage with snapshot bases—saved versions of real player bases currently under Shield. These battles work just like regular ones; you can earn loot and trophies, but the defender won't lose anything. While this system has been in use for Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, it's now expanding to multiplayer battles as well.
To balance out the increased number of battles per session, the update will adjust Trophy Curves by reducing the number of trophies gained from victories. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers will be standardized to a uniform 10 minutes for all players.
