The update allows you to team up or compete with up to three other players. This cross-play functionality is supported by Feral's Calico matchmaking service, ensuring friends can connect and play together regardless of whether they're on mobile or Switch.
This feature is newly introduced for the Nintendo Switch version. While mobile players already had access to online multiplayer, Switch users can now join them. The Company of Heroes Collection for Switch is available for purchase on the Nintendo eShop.
Have You Played Company of Heroes?
Company of Heroes, originally created by Relic Entertainment, is a celebrated real-time strategy game. It is renowned for its gripping World War II settings and sophisticated squad-based combat mechanics.
The game immerses you in the European Theater of Operations, beginning with the D-Day landings in Normandy and advancing through to the Falaise Pocket. You can command the US Army or British 2nd Army for the Allies, or lead the German Wehrmacht and Panzer Elite for the Axis powers.
The base game is available on Android via the Google Play Store. Expansions such as Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor can be acquired as in-app purchases. These expansions are necessary for online multiplayer, as they provide access to the full roster of maps and units for competitive play.
If you haven't experienced this title yet, now is a great time to try it. This latest update for the Switch makes the game more accessible and enjoyable for a broader audience. Also, don't miss our upcoming coverage on the new summer season update for Goddess of Victory: Nikke.
