Get Ready for Gigantamax Pokémon in GO!
The GO Wild Area event introduces Toxtricity, the Punk Pokémon! Catch both its standard and Dynamax forms by teaming up, completing Max Battles, and potentially receiving it as a Special Research reward.
Gigantamax Pokémon dramatically increase in size and change appearance. You'll need to assemble a squad of up to 40 Trainers to defeat them, requiring strategy, teamwork, and plenty of Max Particles.
Max Particles are crucial for powering up your Pokémon's Max Moves, including the unique G-Max Move for each Gigantamax species. The global GO Wild Area event runs November 23rd and 24th. Check out the trailer below!
You're already familiar with Dynamax Pokémon in Pokémon GO – those towering red-glowing giants surrounded by swirling clouds. Trainers level 13 and above can unlock the "To the Max!" Special Research, leading them directly to these behemoths.Power Spots, the locations of Max Battles, are appearing randomly. Exploration is key to finding them, as their locations change.
