For a long time, fans of Cyberpunk 2077 eagerly awaited the integration of items from the hit game into Fortnite, a platform renowned for its diverse crossovers. When the collaboration finally materialized, the excitement was palpable among the fanbase. The item set was impressive, featuring cool designs and elements, but it sparked some disappointment when fans noticed the absence of the male version of the protagonist, V. This led to speculation and comparisons of CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies over recent years. However, the reason behind this decision turned out to be straightforward.

Patrick Mills, the individual responsible for the Cyberpunk 2077 lore, made the final call on this matter. Amidst the swirling discussions, Mills provided clarity on his decision. The bundle format was designed to include only two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. Consequently, there was no room for both versions of V. Given Johnny's male gender, opting for the female version of V was a logical choice. Additionally, Mills personally favored the female V slightly more.

Thus, the exclusion of male V from Fortnite wasn't the result of a complex conspiracy but rather a pragmatic decision based on the constraints of the bundle format and personal preference. We extend our congratulations to Keanu Reeves on his second Fortnite skin; previously, Epic Games had introduced John Wick to the game.
