Elsewhere Electric Is an Asymmetric Co-Op Puzzle Game Dropping Later This Month

Games by Stitch is launching something quite unique later this month. Elsewhere Electric is their new asymmetric cooperative puzzle title, arriving July 23rd, 2025, across Meta Quest, Steam, and mobile platforms. What makes the game special? One player experiences it in VR while the other uses a smartphone!

Elsewhere Electric is an intriguing co-op puzzle experience

In this adventure, two members of an emergency response team are dispatched by Elsewhere Electric’s executives to restore power to a malfunctioning facility. The VR user, known as the Installer, navigates through a dark and atmospheric building.

Meanwhile, the mobile player, referred to as the Operator, remains in a van at the command hub, monitoring the electrical grid from above. With a bird's-eye view of the entire layout, the Operator can manipulate parts of the facility that remain inaccessible to the Installer. Consequently, effective communication is essential for success.

Drawing inspiration from The Witness’s intricate puzzles and Severance’s unsettling atmosphere, Elsewhere Electric requires players to rely heavily on their partner’s perspective and guidance.

Together, you must decode cryptic symbols and overcome environmental obstacles. As you progress, you unlock new abilities that allow you to reconfigure the facility's map, while also encountering invisible creatures lurking in the shadows.

Elsewhere Electric distinguishes itself through its asymmetrical design and emphasis on meaningful gameplay rather than flashy visuals. Each puzzle ties into the larger mystery surrounding what went wrong in the plant and what secrets the executives are keeping.

If you enjoy solving puzzles while collaborating with another player, this game is for you. Developed by the team behind Broken Spectre, it offers yet another compelling reason to give it a try.
