Crucially, Larian Studios, the developers of Baldur's Gate 3, have not released an official mobile version. The scam app, titled "Baldurs Gate 3 - Mobile Turuk" and attributed to developer "Dmytro Turuk," employs modified screenshots from the PC version with a superimposed fake mobile HUD. The absence of any mention of Dungeons & Dragons or Larian Studios further exposes its fraudulent nature.
While the free initial download might lure unsuspecting players, the steep monthly cost and data collection concerns should serve as immediate red flags.
