Amazon Prime Video has set a December 2025 release window for Fallout Season 2 and has already greenlit a third season.
The streaming service shared plans for its post-apocalyptic series based on the Bethesda games during its New York upfront presentation, confirming Season 3 will follow the upcoming batch of episodes this winter. This move shows significant confidence in Season 2, which completed filming just last week.

"The holidays arrived a bit early this year - we're thrilled to be ending the world all over again for a third season of Fallout," said Executive Producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy in a joint statement. "On behalf of our talented cast and crew, our showrunners Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner, and our partners at Bethesda, we thank our incredible collaborators at Amazon MGM Studios and the amazing fans as we continue our adventures in the wasteland together."
Meanwhile, confirmation that Fallout Season 2 is set for a 2025 release comes as a welcome surprise. With filming recently wrapped and LA wildfires halting production earlier this year, many expected new episodes no earlier than 2026.
While Amazon has not announced an exact premiere date, the confirmation of a December release indicates the Prime Video series is progressing swiftly.
Warning! Potential spoilers for the Fallout TV show follow.
