Amazon Prime's live-action Fallout series, following its April premiere, commences filming for its second season this November. The new season aims to expand upon the cliffhanger ending of season one.
Fallout Season 2: Filming Begins, Cast Uncertainties Remain
Leslie Uggams (Betty Pearson), confirmed the November start date to Screen Rant. While her return is confirmed, the full cast remains unannounced, though Ella Purnell (Lucy MacLean) and Walton Goggins (Cooper "The Ghoul" Howard) are expected to reprise their roles. Uggams teased intriguing developments for her character, Betty Pearson, a Vault-Tec executive assistant: "I am with the Vault People, so I didn’t get to see what the Earth people were doing," she stated. "So when it came on, I was blown away. But Betty’s got some things up her sleeve. Just stay tuned." A 2026 premiere is speculated, but an official date is pending. Producer Graham Wagner revealed a "Vegas-bound" storyline, incorporating the Fallout: New Vegas antagonist, Robert House. The extent of House's involvement is undisclosed, though his presence was hinted at in S1 flashbacks. Showrunner Robertson-Dworet and Wagner previously indicated that S2 will explore untold stories, expanding on S1's pivotal moments, including Vault-Tec executives, the origins of the Great War, and character backstories.
