Get ready for the global launch of Delta Force, brought to you by Garena. Originally known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, this tactical first-person shooter is set to launch a PC Open Beta on December 5th, 2024. Meanwhile, the mobile open beta will kick off next year, giving players across platforms a chance to dive into the action.
For those unfamiliar with the franchise, Delta Force was initially developed by NovaLogic. The reins were later handed over to Tencent’s TiMi Studios, the masterminds behind Call of Duty: Mobile. Now, Garena is partnering with TiMi to introduce Delta Force to various global regions.
One of the game's standout features is cross-progression between PC and mobile, ensuring a seamless gaming experience. In 2025, Garena and TiMi aim to roll out Delta Force on both platforms across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, and the Middle East and North Africa.
What Will Garena Offer in Delta Force?
If you’re a fan of large-scale battles, you’ll be thrilled with the Warfare mode. This mode pits 32 players against 32 others in an epic war zone that spans land, air, and sea. Teams are organized into squads of four operators, ensuring coordinated and strategic gameplay.
For a different kind of thrill, check out the Operations mode. This extraction shooter mode features high-stakes missions with teams of three. Your squad will navigate through the map, scavenging for loot, evading enemies, and racing against time to reach the extraction point. The loot you gather can be used in subsequent matches or exchanged for in-game currency. You can also take down opponents to claim their gear and supplies. The map is dotted with bosses, restricted areas, and special missions, adding layers of complexity to your strategy.
A unique feature in Operations is the MandelBrick, a rare item that, once found, unlocks exclusive skins. However, there’s a catch—your location becomes visible to all other players, adding an intense element of risk and reward. Curious to see what the game looks like?
