Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9: Cosmic Overhaul Arrives December 3rd!

Get ready for a celestial shake-up! Hearthstone's Battlegrounds Season 9 launches December 3rd, bringing a universe of changes to the Tavern. Prepare for a revamped minion lineup, flashy new tech, and a cosmic vibe that'll leave you starstruck.

Key Changes:

• Bob's Technotavern Gets an Upgrade: Expect a complete overhaul! Ratings are being reset, and Trinkets are making way for a new mechanic: Battlegrounds Tokens. These tokens allow you to reroll your hero choice at the selection screen – perfect for escaping those undesirable options.

• Minion Reveal Schedule: The new season's minion reveals are staggered:

  • November 20th: Naga and Dragon reveals.
  • November 21st: Quilboar and Beast reveals.
  • November 22nd: Pirate and Duos-only reveals.
  • November 25th: Murloc and Demon reveals.
  • November 26th: Elemental and Undead reveals.
  • December 2nd: Preview event streams and 31.2 patch notes.

• Three New Heroes: Prepare to meet three brand-new heroes, with Farseer Nobundo already generating considerable excitement with his Galaxy's Lens ability.

• Minion Pool Reshuffle: Nearly 90 minions and Tavern spells are entering or leaving the pool, significantly altering gameplay strategies.

• Damage Cap Adjustment (Solo Mode): Solo Battlegrounds will see a modified damage cap: 5 damage early game, increasing to 10 on turn 4 and 15 on turn 8. The cap is removed once you reach the top 4.

• Phased Minion Release:

  • December 3rd: Beasts, Dragons, Quilboar, Pirates, Naga, and Mechs enter the fray.
  • December 5th: Murlocs and Demons join the battle.
  • December 9th: Undead and Elementals complete the lineup.
