Season 8 of Hearthstone Battlegrounds is here, bringing exciting new features, heroes, and cards! This update introduces significant changes that seasoned players will appreciate.
The Big News: Trinkets!
The Perils in Paradise update paves the way for Season 8's major addition: Trinkets! Prepare to collect 56 Lesser Trinkets and 60 Greater Trinkets, with the possibility of obtaining duplicates.
These power-ups appear on turns 6 and 9, offering 4 choices each time. Trinket availability is tailored to your hero and current board composition, ensuring a diverse range of options for Elemental, Dragon, Murloc, and other strategies.
Meet Marin the Manager!
Season 8 introduces a new hero: Marin the Manager. His unique ability allows you to acquire a Trinket a turn earlier than usual, providing a significant strategic advantage.

Roster Revamp: Minions In and Out
Season 8 also involves a minion refresh. While 41 minions are rotating out, 22 fan favorites return, joined by 27 brand-new minions and 2 exciting Tavern spells.
Four New Cards to Discover
Four fresh cards enhance the gameplay:
- Free Travel Winner (Tier 2): A 2/2 minion that disappears after surviving combat, rewarding you with a Triple Reward.
- Inspiring Underdog (Tier 4): Strengthens your lower-tier minions.
- Lucky Egg (Tier 5): Transforms a Tier 3 minion into a Golden Tier 3 minion.
- Sun Screener (Tier 6): A 10/1 minion granting Divine Shield to your three leftmost minions and your opponent's.
Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt Event
From August 27th to September 17th, participate in the Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt event. Complete event quests to earn 14 total packs, including rewards from Perils in Paradise and Whizbang's Workshop.
