"Avatar: Seven Havens" is a 26-episode 2D animated series that follows a young Earthbender who is identified as the next Avatar after Korra. It is co-created by "Avatar: The Last Airbender" creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko.
Nickelodeon describes "Seven Havens" as taking place in a world "shattered by a devastating cataclysm. A young Earthbender realizes she is the new Avatar after Korra, yet in this perilous age, that title brands her as humanity's destroyer, not its savior. Pursued by both human and spirit foes, she and her long-lost twin must unravel their mysterious origins and save the Seven Havens before the last bastions of civilization fall."
The series will be split into two seasons, with a 13-episode Book 1 followed by a 13-episode Book 2.
This is the first mainline TV series from Avatar Studios, which is also producing a full-length animated film based on Aang. The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 30, 2026, and will follow an adult Aang on a new adventure.
