Kaiju No. 8 The Game is now officially available on Android. Published by Akatsuki Games, this mobile title adapts the popular Shonen Jump+ manga and its currently airing anime, meticulously recreating the series' signature combat.
A Battle for Survival
Humanity stands against colossal monsters. The game plunges you into epic confrontations between the Japan Anti-Kaiju Defense Force and waves of relentless kaiju.
Command a four-person squad in turn-based battles. Characters fight in paired partnerships, and your team composition dictates which coordinated follow-up attacks trigger when you expose a kaiju's core.
Kaiju are armored with various protective plates. Breaking these plates is essential to inflict significant damage. Some shatter from any attack, while others require specific elemental strikes—such as fire, ice, wind, lightning, or water—to crack.
All major characters from the series appear. You'll find Kafka Hibino, Kikoru Shinomiya wielding her massive axe, Soshiro Hoshina with his twin swords, and Mina Ashiro alongside her tiger companion, Bakko. The roster also introduces new faces like Sagan Shinomiya, captain of the enigmatic CLOZER unit.
CLOZER, meaning Closing Order With Zero Restrictions, is a new faction tasked with sealing dimensional gates that have opened worldwide. This plot element expands the story's scope beyond Japan.
The game features encounters with alternate versions of iconic monsters, including a fresh interpretation of the legendary Kaiju No. 2. The main storyline is set during the anime's second season.
