The dormant titans awaken as Pokémon Go summons trainers back into action. Leading up to this year's Go Fest: Global, the week-long Ancients Recovered event starting June 23rd provides the perfect opportunity to prepare your raid teams and hunt down legendary colossi.

From Regirock to Regigigas, each day will highlight a different legendary giant in five-star raids, culminating in a grand reunion on June 27th. These aren't recycled encounters either - event catches come bearing signature moves, including Registeel with Zap Cannon and Regieleki with Thunder Cage.

For those seeking greater challenges, Max Battles will feature the fully powered Gigantamax Galar starters - Rillaboom, Cinderace, and Inteleon - in six-star raids. Completionists can tackle Timed Research focused on these titans, with a special reward: completing it unlocks a surprise selection opportunity.

Trainers can opt for the premium experience with the $7.99 Fleeting Legends Ticket, granting access to exclusive Timed Research that rewards an encounter with your choice of Galarian Articuno, Zapdos, or Moltres - essentially a guaranteed legendary bird encounter.

The Global Challenge running June 22nd through 27th offers worldwide participation rewards, including enhanced Premier Balls and faster Party Power charging during Go Fest. Every raid contributes to unlocking these global bonuses.

Lucky trainers might obtain special Pokémon Backgrounds from raid catches - purely cosmetic mementos similar to Location Backgrounds from physical events. While they don't affect gameplay, they make for impressive displays.

The Pokémon Go Web Store now offers new battle bundles, including a comprehensive $99.99 raid-and-hatch package for dedicated trainers.
