Marvel: Contest of Champions is expanding its collection of characters this September
Silver Samurai and Mr Knight are now available, along with special events that run for a limited time
Summoners Fest is about to begin
Marvel: Contest of Champions is adding two more characters to its existing lineup of Marvel heroes and villains. These new fighters will join the action, and likely appear on the game's tier list due to their abilities.
Silver Samurai will be available starting September 11th. This sword-wielding mutant is well-known among X-Men fans. Kenuichio Harada, the son of a crime boss, has the power to generate energy that allows him to cut through almost anything.
Mr Knight, who becomes available on September 25th, is the newest version of Moon Knight to join the game. He plays the role of a gentleman detective but isn't afraid to get involved in a fight when necessary.
Crossover crisis
As some of you might already know, the upcoming Summoners Fest will also feature competitors who qualify from the Battlerealm Brawl leaderboard. Tickets for Summoners Fest 2025 are now available and it promises to deliver an exciting mix of action and suspense.
There are a few event quests that fans can look forward to. In This Corner runs until October 8th, where you will lead your own team of fighters featuring Silver Samurai and the Summoner's Choice Champion Mr Knight to determine if a contest for New Manhattan's protector is about to go wrong.
This quest includes adaptive difficulty and comes with a rework for Aleksei Sytsevich (Rhino) as well as the start of the Fantastic Fun Fall Fair event on September 17th. While it may not offer as many rewards as these events, it's still worth checking out our Marvel: Contest of Champions code list for free rewards.
