Facing the Congalala requires constant movement due to its size and agility. Avoid standing directly in front or behind the beast, as these are the primary areas affected by its potent breath attacks. Be wary of its powerful hand smashes, tail whips, and ranged breath attacks.

Focus your attacks on the breakable parts for increased damage. Targeting the forelegs is advisable as they offer the best opportunity for attacks when the Congalala is momentarily vulnerable. For the head, tail, and rear, wait until the beast consumes a mushroom, which is visibly clear. Once it spews gas, strike if you’re not caught in the attack.

If you find yourself affected by the fumes, use deodorant or roll through water to negate the effects. Utilize the wounds you cause by employing Focus Mode and Focus Strikes to deliver heavy damage, effectively countering the Congalala’s breath attacks or ground smashes.
