By SimonApr 07,2025

In *Marvel Rivals*, you can add a touch of flair to your gameplay by using sprays and emotes. Whether you're playing as a hero or a villain, these cosmetic features allow you to express yourself in style. Here's how you can use them effectively in the game.

Using Sprays and Emotes in Marvel Rivals

To deploy a spray or an emote during a match, simply hold down the T key to access the cosmetics wheel. From there, you can choose the spray or emote you wish to use. If the T key isn't your preference, you can customize this keybind in the settings menu to suit your playstyle.

Marvel Rivals Gameplay

Remember, sprays and emotes must be equipped for each character individually. There's no universal setting for all characters. To equip them, navigate to the hero gallery from the main menu, select your character, and go to the Cosmetics tab. Here, you can choose from Costumes, MVP, Emotes, or Sprays and equip your favorites for that specific hero or villain.

How to Unlock More Sprays in Marvel Rivals

Unlocking additional sprays and other cosmetics in *Marvel Rivals* often requires real money, particularly through the Luxury track of the Battle Pass. However, you can also earn some cosmetics for free via the free track of the Battle Pass.

By completing daily and event missions, you'll accumulate Chrono Tokens. These tokens can be used to unlock more items in the Battle Pass. Additionally, improving your proficiency with individual characters can unlock further cosmetic options, enhancing your collection without additional cost.

That's all you need to know about using and unlocking sprays and emotes in *Marvel Rivals*. For more tips and detailed information on the game, including insights on the rank reset in Competitive mode and the meaning of SVP, be sure to check out The Escapist.
