Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) has recently been rated M for Mature by the ESRB, confirming the developers' commitment to recreating the original game's features, including the return of the Peep Demo Theater. This feature, first introduced in the Subsistence and HD Collection versions of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, allows players to view all cutscenes featuring the female spy EVA in her underwear. Players can freely adjust the camera and zoom in on any part of her body, though unlocking this requires collecting all other cutscenes in the Demo Theater, which involves completing the game four times.

While the game's mature rating due to its themes of violence and gore was anticipated, the reintroduction of the Peep Demo Theater, often referred to as "Creepy mode," has surprised many fans given its explicit and controversial nature.

Faster Camouflage System

In a significant gameplay enhancement, MGS Delta introduces a quicker method to change camouflage. A video shared by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on X (formerly Twitter) on March 28 showcased this new feature, allowing players to switch camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more in under three seconds. This is a substantial improvement over the original Metal Gear Solid 3, where changing camouflage was a cumbersome process that involved pausing the game, navigating through menus, and selecting the desired option. This streamlined approach enhances the game's pacing, particularly during stealth sections, and boosts the overall immersive experience.

As the release date of MGS Delta approaches, fans are eagerly anticipating the remake, which promises both the return of beloved features and quality-of-life improvements. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is scheduled to launch on August 26, 2025, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
