Xbox Game Pass July 2025 First Wave Games Revealed

Microsoft has unveiled the first wave of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in July 2025, featuring Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, the comeback of High On Life, and several other exciting titles.

According to an announcement on Xbox Wire, Little Nightmares 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC) arrives today, July 1, for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard members. Rise of the Tomb Raider (Cloud, Console, and PC) also rejoins the service across the same tiers.

On July 2, Legend of Mana (Console) and Trials of Mana (Console) become available through Game Pass Standard. The party platformer Ultimate Chicken Horse (Cloud, Console, and PC) follows on July 3, included in Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard.

The critically acclaimed cyberpunk action RPG, The Ascent (Cloud, Console, and PC), makes its return to Game Pass on July 8 via Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. Minami Lane (Cloud, Console, and PC) then joins the catalog on July 9 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.

A major highlight arrives on July 11: Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 (Cloud, Console, and PC) launches day one on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Deluxe Edition Upgrade owners can get up to three days of early access starting July 8, which includes the Doom Slayer and The Revenant as playable skaters.

On July 15, the popular comedic first-person shooter High On Life (Cloud, Console, and PC) returns to Game Pass via Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. The game was a massive hit on the service in 2022, and a sequel is currently in development.

Additionally, the Retro Classics collection is receiving a new batch of games for subscribers. This initiative is part of Microsoft's partnership with Antstream Arcade to bring classic Activision titles from the 80s and 90s to Game Pass members.
