The Xbox Games Showcase 2025 will be livestreamed globally on Sunday, June 8, starting at 10:00 AM Pacific Time / 1:00 PM Eastern Time / 6:00 PM UK Time. The showcase promises a deep dive into upcoming titles from Microsoft’s first-party studios, along with new games from top third-party developers around the world.
What to Expect at Xbox Games Showcase 2025

From Bethesda, there’s growing anticipation about the future of Starfield, especially with fans still awaiting confirmation of a PlayStation 5 release. Could we also see early glimpses of The Elder Scrolls VI?
As for hardware, while no major Xbox console launches are expected in 2025, Microsoft might tease or discuss partnerships involving third-party Xbox-branded handheld devices ahead of its planned 2027 releases.
The Outer Worlds 2 Direct
Following the Xbox Games Showcase, fans will be treated to the The Outer Worlds 2 Direct. This developer-focused presentation will offer an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Obsidian Entertainment, the studio behind the acclaimed sci-fi RPG series.
Fresh off the release of Avowed, Obsidian will share new gameplay footage, story details, and insights directly from the development team. With The Outer Worlds 2 slated for a late 2025 release, this Direct could very well reveal the game’s official launch date.
