"First Mobile Game from Made in Abyss Universe Launched"

Avex Pictures has just unveiled an exciting new addition to the Made in Abyss universe with the announcement of a new mobile game titled "Made in Abyss: A Difficult and Mysterious Journey." This marks the first time the captivating story of Made in Abyss will be available on mobile devices. The game's reveal came hand-in-hand with the launch of its official X account, which fans can follow for the latest updates as the release date approaches.

While details about the game are still scarce, we know it's set to be a casual mobile title, initially available only in Japan on both Android and iOS platforms. There has been no mention yet of plans for a global release, keeping fans outside Japan eagerly awaiting further news.

Diving into the Abyss

The Made in Abyss saga began in 2012 with Akihito Tsukushi's manga, which was serialized on Web Comic Gamma. The story revolves around Riko, a young orphan from the town of Orth, perched on the edge of the mysterious and vast Abyss. This colossal hole in the earth is teeming with ancient technology, bizarre creatures, and a chilling enigma that has claimed countless lives.

Riko's ambition is to emulate her mother, Lyza, a renowned White Whistle Cave Raider who vanished into the depths of the Abyss. On her journey, Riko encounters Reg, a mysterious half-robot boy with no recollection of his past. Together, they embark on a perilous descent into the unknown, fully aware that they might never make it back.

The popularity of the manga led to its adaptation into an anime in 2017, followed by the sequel film "Dawn of the Deep Soul" in 2020. Additionally, in 2022, Chime Corporation released a console and PC RPG, "Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness," further expanding the franchise's reach.
