Selected Fans Receive Nintendo Switch 2 Experience Confirmation Emails

Nintendo reportedly began sending confirmation emails on January 27, 2025, to fans who applied for Nintendo Switch 2 Experience events across the globe. Fans excitedly took to Twitter (X) to share their confirmation emails from Nintendo.

Event registration opened on January 17, 2025, following the release of the Switch 2 trailer, and closed on January 26, 2025. Registrants needed a free Nintendo Account. Nintendo has also posted rules and other important details for attendees on its website.

Fans who were not selected still received an email with details about waitlists. These will open on January 29, 2025, at 4 PM ET / 3 PM CT / 1 PM PT, in case new spots become available due to cancellations.

The next Nintendo Direct is scheduled for April 2, 2025, and will feature the Nintendo Switch 2. According to Nintendo’s official website, this broadcast will offer fans "a closer look at Nintendo Switch 2." Broadcast times and platforms will be shared later on Nintendo’s official website and social media channels.
