Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Coming This March 18, 2025
Following their successful collaboration in November 2023 for LE SSERAFIM's song "Perfect Night," Overwatch 2 is thrilled to continue this dynamic partnership. The announcement was made official with a trailer on Twitter (X) on March 11, 2025, and had been hinted at during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12.
This event introduces new skins for popular characters like Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Fans can also revisit and purchase recolored skins from the 2023 collaboration, which featured LE SSERAFIM-themed versions of Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte. Unlike the previous event, the Concert Clash mode will not make a return, as it was specifically designed around LE SSERAFIM's "Perfect Night" video. Instead, players can earn the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin by tackling in-game challenges throughout the event.
Aimee Denett, Overwatch Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights with Polygon on March 11 about the collaboration. She noted, "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album." Although there won't be a new song specifically for Overwatch, the team is excited about creating a visualizer for one of the tracks from "Hot," alongside a wide range of cosmetics for this event.
