Set in the Bronze Age, Ozymandias invites players to explore diverse Mediterranean and European civilizations. While delivering the strategic depth expected from a 4X game—city building, army expansion, and conquering rivals—it distinguishes itself through its remarkably simplified and rapid pace.
Unlike many 4X games that demand meticulous resource management, Ozymandias streamlines the process. Forget endless micromanagement; this game prioritizes speed. Matches conclude in approximately 90 minutes, akin to a board game session.
The game features eight detailed historical maps and 52 unique empires, each possessing distinct characteristics that necessitate adaptable strategies. Multiple game modes are available, including solo, multiplayer, and asynchronous options. The simultaneous turn system further enhances the fast-paced gameplay.
