Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, including dates and locations. This article covers the upcoming Fest and two additional January events.

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza taking place in three global cities across different dates in May and June:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

Further event details will be released in March 2025. Remember, event specifics are subject to change, and we'll provide updates as they become available.

A World of Pokémon Awaits

Pokémon GO Fest is a renowned global event offering trainers exclusive items, unique gameplay, and exciting bonuses. In-person events, requiring ticket purchases, offer unique city-specific features and experiences.

Expect rare Pokémon encounters impossible to achieve through standard gameplay. Past events have featured legendary Pokémon like Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Marshadow. Shiny Pokémon will also have increased appearance rates, varying by location based on their natural habitats.

In-person attendees can look forward to exclusive merchandise, habitat-themed collections, community hubs, and team lounges for socializing with fellow trainers. While specific details for 2025 remain undisclosed, expect a similar level of excitement and engagement to previous years.

Two More January Events!

Beyond the Pokémon GO Fest announcement, Niantic revealed two additional January events:

• Fashion Week: Taken Over: January 15th, 2025 (12:00 pm) - January 19th, 2025 (8:00 pm) local time. Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni. Shroodle and Grafaiai debut, hatching from 12 km Eggs. Other Shadow Pokémon will appear, and a fashionable Croagunk may be encountered during snapshots.

• Shadow Raid Day (Ho-Oh): January 19th, 2025 (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm) local time. Participate in Five-Star Shadow Raids to capture Shadow Ho-Oh. A $5 USD ticket grants eight additional Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raids. Shiny Ho-Oh has increased encounter rates, and lucky trainers can teach their Ho-Oh the signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
