Pokémon Go's Holiday Event: Part Two Details Revealed!
Get ready for even more festive fun in Pokémon Go! Niantic has announced the details for Part Two of their Holiday Event, running from December 22nd to 27th. Following the first part launching on December 17th, this second phase promises increased bonuses, exciting Pokémon encounters, and rewarding challenges.
Part Two features double XP for catching Pokémon and a 50% XP boost for Raid Battles. Make sure to catch the debuting Dedenne, and keep an eye out for festive Wooloo and Dubwool – shiny versions might even appear!
From December 25th to January 5th, Daily Adventure Incense will last twice as long, offering extended opportunities to catch Pokémon like Alolan Rattata, Murkrow, Blitzle, Tynamo, Absol, and more.
Raids will feature a variety of Pokémon: Litwick and Cetoddle in one-star raids, Snorlax and Banette in three-star raids, and Giratina in five-star raids. Mega Latios and Abomasnow will also be available in Mega Raids.
For players who prefer quests, Field Research Tasks will offer encounters with event-themed Pokémon. A $5 Timed Research will provide additional rewards, including a Glacial Lure Module, two Incense, a Wooloo Jacket, and more encounters. Collection Challenges focused on catching and raiding will reward Stardust, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls.
