Get ready for the Pokémon Go Holiday Part One event! From December 17th to 22nd, celebrate the festive season with special Pokémon encounters, exciting challenges, and boosted rewards.
This event brings double XP for catching Pokémon and a 50% reduction in Egg hatching distance. A new costumed Dedenne, sporting its holiday best, will debut, with a chance to catch a shiny variant! Shiny Sandygast will also make its first appearance.
Expect to find Alolan Sandshrew, Swinub, and Darumaka in the wild. Raids will feature festive Pokémon including a Winter Carnival Pikachu, a holiday Psyduck, Undersea Holiday Glaceon, and Cryogonal. Mega Latias and Mega Latios will also appear in Mega Raids.
Seven-kilometer Eggs hold the possibility of hatching Hisuian Growlithe or a holiday-ribboned Cubchoo. Complete event-themed Field Research tasks (including a paid Timed Research option for $2.00) to earn themed Pokémon encounters, Premium Battle Passes, and other rewards.
