Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Set for January 28th
Originally slated for a December 17th launch, the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of the acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor have been rescheduled for release on January 28th, 2025. This delay, announced by publisher Whitethorn Games, aimed to provide players with the best possible gaming experience.
Initially released in April 2024 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Botany Manor quickly garnered critical praise, earning a "Strong" rating on OpenCritic with an average score of 83 out of 100 and a 92% recommendation rate. Its charming atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and rewarding exploration captivated critics and players alike, establishing it as a top-tier puzzle game of 2024.
The PlayStation port, announced earlier, faced a brief postponement, but the new January 28th release date ensures Botany Manor will soon join the PlayStation library. While a PS Store page isn't yet available, pre-orders or wishlisting should be possible soon.
The PlayStation version is expected to be priced at $24.99, consistent with other platforms. Like its counterparts, it will be a one-time purchase without microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store.
Expanding the PlayStation Puzzle Lineup
With its release on PlayStation, Botany Manor completes its journey across all initially planned platforms. The game's success is poised to significantly enhance the already impressive selection of puzzle games available on PlayStation. While Balloon Studios hasn't yet announced its next project, Botany Manor's arrival on January 28th will share the spotlight with other notable titles like Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
