It’s unclear if this specific printing is still in production, so if you’ve wanted to own Star Trek: TNG, now is an excellent opportunity.

As someone who grew up in the ‘90s, The Next Generation (which originally aired from 1987 to 1994 and was widely syndicated) remains my favorite Star Trek series. While Deep Space Nine and Strange New Worlds are outstanding, and the original series is legendary, Captain Picard will always be my captain. Crew members like Data, Troi, Worf, Riker, Geordi, Beverly, and even Wesley Crusher are, in my view, among the best in the franchise. Despite the occasionally uneven early seasons, the show as a whole feels like a comforting, nostalgic blanket.

For comprehensive Star Trek access, a Paramount+ subscription provides plenty of excellent content beyond the franchise. However, relying on a monthly subscription isn't for everyone. Owning the series on physical or digital media means you can watch Star Trek: TNG anytime, regardless of your Paramount+ status or internet connectivity.
