While delays in Steam game development are common, usually stemming from financial or technical issues, Fortune's Run's predicament is unique. The developer's incarceration halts all progress. Dizzie, in a January 14th Steam update, revealed their three-year sentence, a consequence of a prior crime committed before the game's development. Originally a collaborative project, Fortune's Run now rests solely on Dizzie's shoulders after the departure of another team member following a medical complication and subsequent loss of interest in game development.
