Clash Royale has introduced a major evolution for the Inferno Dragon – the first substantial upgrade this fiery Legend has received in nearly a decade. Supercell marked the occasion with a special collaboration featuring Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola.

The Inferno Dragon Evolution delivers significant gameplay improvements over the original version. While the standard Inferno Dragon resets damage when switching targets, the evolved version maintains its damage buildup regardless of target changes.
Inferno Dragon Evolution Launches Clash Royale's New Season
The "How to Evolve Your Dragon!" season introduces the Inferno Dragon Evolution alongside the return of the 2v2 League, where players can team up with friends or random partners.
Milestone Events (starting from Arena 7) offer rewards including:
- 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards
- Epic Book of Cards
- Exclusive Cosmetics
Crown Chase events feature:
- Battle Banners with frames and decorations
- Epic Book of Cards reward
- Additional Evolution Shards
To showcase new Evolution cards, developers have scheduled multiple game modes throughout June and early July:
- Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft (June 2-9)
- Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9) with Battle Banner and Emote rewards
- Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) allowing up to 4 Evolution Cards per deck
- Magical Trio (June 16-23)
- 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30)
- Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7) permitting up to 8 Evolution Cards per deck
