Titled "The Days Have Worn Away," this seventh installment marks the 29th comic release overall, including special events and themed stories. The release comes after a seven-year hiatus, the last comic having been released in 2017.
Valve playfully acknowledged the extended wait, likening the comic's creation to the construction of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They quipped that while the original builders didn't live to see its completion, TF2 players only had to wait a mere seven years.
