BioWare has seemingly abandoned plans for Dragon Age: The Veilguard downloadable content (DLC). However, creative director John Epler hinted at the possibility of a Dragon Age remastered collection.
BioWare Officially Rules Out Dragon Age: The Veilguard DLC
Dragon Age Remastered Collection Remains a Possibility
According to Rolling Stone, BioWare has confirmed it won't be developing any DLC for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, stating the game is "complete." With the Veilguard's release, BioWare's focus has shifted to the next Mass Effect title.
While specifics regarding future Veilguard DLC remain undisclosed, Epler addressed fan interest in a remastered Dragon Age collection, similar to the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. He expressed enthusiasm for the idea but acknowledged the significant challenge posed by the original games' use of EA's proprietary engines. Epler stated, "It's not as straightforward as Mass Effect was, but we cherish the original games. Never say never, I suppose."
