World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 is Adding More Areas than Just Undermine

World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, "Undermined," expands beyond its namesake zone, introducing several new subzones. This expansion includes Gutterville and Kaja'Coast, significantly enriching the gameplay experience.

Key Additions in Patch 11.1:

  • Undermine: The central focus, a sprawling subterranean Goblin city brimming with unique architecture and inventions. The map reveals a key hub, Slam Central Station, with five apparent access points suggesting further interconnected locations.

  • Gutterville: Situated in the Ringing Deeps' southeastern corner, this subzone features Excavation Site 9, one of two new Delves in Patch 11.1. Its maroon coloration hints at corruption by Black Blood, potentially linking it directly to Undermine.

  • Kaja'Coast: A new Goblin encampment in Zuldazar, near Bilgewater Bonanza. Its proximity to the tram system showcased in the initial 11.1 announcement strongly suggests it serves as another entry point to Undermine.

Exploring the New Zones:

While the official release date for Patch 11.1 is estimated for mid-to-late February, players can anticipate early access on the Public Test Realm (PTR) in early January. This allows for early exploration of Undermine, Gutterville, and Kaja'Coast, offering a sneak peek into the expanded world of World of Warcraft. The five access points within Slam Central Station hint at the possibility of three additional, yet-to-be-revealed, Goblin-themed areas within the update.
