World of Warcraft Reveals Second Turbulent Timeways Timewalking Event Schedule

World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Seven Weeks of Turbulent Timeways

World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, and this time it's even bigger. Running for seven consecutive weeks until February 24th, this event offers a non-stop Timewalking experience across various expansions.

What's in Store?

Prepare for a whirlwind tour through WoW's history, tackling Timewalking dungeons and earning a wealth of rewards:

  • New Rewards: Discover fresh loot and cosmetic items.
  • Timewarped Badges Galore: Stock up on these valuable badges.
  • Experience Boost: Level up faster with a powerful experience buff. Achieve Mastery of Timeways for a significant 20% experience boost after completing four Timewalking dungeons.

This expanded event builds upon the success of the September 2023 iteration, which featured five weeks of Timewalking. This time around, completing Mastery of Timeways for five out of the seven weeks unlocks the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement, rewarding players with the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount.

The Schedule:

Get ready for a chronological journey through WoW's expansions:

  • January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
  • January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
  • January 21-27: Legion
  • January 28-February 3: Classic
  • February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
  • February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
  • February 18-24: Cataclysm

More Than Just Timewalking:

Timewalking vendors across all expansions boast new permanent additions, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. The Sandy Shalewing pet, previously exclusive to the initial Turbulent Timeways, also makes a return. Completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest yields Heroic gear throughout the event.

Looking Ahead:

With the recent 20th-anniversary event's 11 weeks of Timewalking and the addition of Turbulent Timeways, players will have enjoyed 18 consecutive weeks of Timewalking by the end of February. The event's conclusion on February 24th hints at future plans. Considering Blizzard's typical release schedule, this strongly suggests that Patch 11.1, Undermined, is likely to launch on February 25th, approximately 10 weeks after Patch 11.0.7. This, combined with the continuation of Plunderstorm and the upcoming War Within update, promises an action-packed start to 2025 for World of Warcraft.
