How To Find and Give Weapons to the Earth Sprite in Fortnite

By AllisonJan 11,2025

Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 introduces Sprites, helpful entities offering players items and abilities. The Earth Sprite, the most beneficial but elusive Sprite, can be found on the new Chapter 6 map in Battle Royale, Zero Build, and Ranked modes.

Fortnite Earth Sprite Locations

The Earth Sprite boasts nearly two dozen potential spawn points, each marked by a distinctive solitary lantern (see image below). However, only two Sprites appear per match, requiring players to search multiple locations.

Offering Weapons to the Earth Sprite

Locating an Earth Sprite is the challenge. Once found, simply interact with it (use the interact button). This will transfer your currently equipped weapon to the Sprite, completing the Week 1 Quest and rewarding you with 25,000 XP. Your lost weapon is replaced with a random Legendary-rarity weapon, making the effort worthwhile.

Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
