The narrative of World of Warcraft: The War Within continues to evolve, promising an exciting journey ahead. Beyond the Siren Isle update, Season 2 is set to launch later in 2025, bringing fresh endgame content and advancing the storyline of this expansion. Patch 11.0.7 introduces new story quests that lay the groundwork for Patch 11.1, focusing on the Goblin capital, Undermine. Additionally, a questline will conclude the heart-wrenching saga of Dalaran's destruction, although it won't be immediately accessible upon the patch's release.

Dalaran, a beloved part of the Warcraft universe for years, faces an uncertain future following the events of The War Within. The Dalaran Epilogue questline offers a fitting conclusion to its story, honoring its significance in Wrath of the Lich King and Legion.

How to Start the Patch 11.1 Prologue
In contrast to the Dalaran Epilogue, the Lingering Shadows campaign is immediately accessible. You don't need to have completed the leveling or Level 80 campaigns, but doing so will provide valuable context and prevent spoilers. The Lingering Shadows campaign includes the following quests:

- Together, Alone
- The Voice
- Ringing in the Deeps
- Good Help These Days
- Hey, What's Going On?

After completing "Found Friends," engage with Orweyna. Her quest, though not part of the main campaign, sheds light on plot points that may surface in future updates for The War Within or other expansions in the World Soul Saga.
How to Start Dalaran Epilogue in World of Warcraft: The War Within
Initially, the Dalaran Epilogue had a three-week time gate upon the patch's release. As of January 7th, this restriction has been lifted. However, to unlock this campaign, you must have completed the leveling campaign for The War Within and the Level 80 campaign, which requires at least Renown Four with all four Khaz Algar factions.
To check if you meet these criteria, visit Foundation Hall, where the prologue quests for Patch 11.1 begin. If Khadgar is present, you can obtain the quest from him starting January 7th or later. His absence indicates you still have campaign quests to complete. Below is the complete quest list for the Dalaran Epilogue.

Upon finishing this campaign, you will earn the Fate of the Kirin Tor achievement and the "Witness of the Kirin Tor" title.
