New leaks suggest a permanent dress-up game mode is coming to Zenless Zone Zero in Version 1.5, launching January 22nd. This mode, revealed as a "Bangboo Beauty Contest," centers around customizing the outfits of Eous, the game's mascot. Reliable leaker Flying Flame shared screenshots showcasing various clothing items for players to mix and match. While the mode will become permanent, event-specific rewards will be time-limited. Rumors suggest this event may also unlock a highly anticipated skin for Nicole Demara.
Version 1.4 introduced S-Rank characters Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa (the latter being free), alongside new permanent combat-focused game modes. Version 1.5's addition of a non-combat, permanent game mode follows this trend, mirroring similar features in other HoYoverse titles like Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact.
Further leaks hint at a temporary platformer game mode. HoYoverse has already confirmed the arrival of new S-Rank characters Astra Yao and Evelyn, a new area, and a new chapter in the main storyline for Version 1.5. More details are expected soon.
