Welcome to Proton Bus Urbano!

This is the classic edition, centered on urban buses for transporting passengers within cities. Originally launched in 2017, it’s been nearly five years! Our simulator has gained numerous features throughout this time.

The bus modding system is now more sophisticated, supporting a wide range of animations for buttons, rain, wipers, windows, and more. The community has already produced hundreds of buses, with even more on the way!

We’ll be releasing many new buses as mods shortly, with several currently in development this year. Including every bus directly in the game would make it excessively large, and no one uses all vehicles anyway... By offering them as mods, you keep only your favorites, saving storage space. All older non-animated buses were excluded from this edition and will be re-released as mods in the coming months.

In 2020, we introduced a map modding system—a rarity for mobile games! While map creation requires a computer, finished maps can run on most mobile devices with sufficient RAM.

The original routes are still available, but with a strong focus on custom map creation, they will soon become a thing of the past.

This simulator is FREE with optional extras for PAID USERS. You can enjoy the free version indefinitely; we’re not solely interested in your money. Please pay only if you GENUINELY APPRECIATE the project and understand its development. Paid users enjoy an ad-free experience and gain access to exclusive features like virtual mirrors, cruise control (automatic speed maintenance), 360-degree screenshot capture, and more. Nearly all other features and buses remain completely free.

This is more of a simulator than a typical game. We’re not focused on points, checkpoints, or similar mechanics. Simply choose a bus you like and drive. As a complex simulator, it involves many controls and settings. We recommend watching a video or online tutorial before reporting issues, as most common problems have simple solutions. For instance, press N before shifting gears to move the bus, and remember to release the parking brake. Some settings may cause unexpected behavior, so please read their descriptions carefully before enabling specific options. Certain settings perform better on some devices than others.

The project is available for PC and Android. On PC, graphics quality is generally superior due to more powerful hardware. Numerous settings can be adjusted to enhance performance. A modern mid- to high-end device with ample RAM (preferably 4 GB or more) is recommended. If performance is poor on your device, try older versions or experiment with settings. There’s a known issue with 64-bit Unity applications on Android; if you experience low framerates, download the 32-bit APK from our website, as it may improve speed.

Our focus will be on core updates, especially modding support. This simulator shines with mods—imagine it without them for a moment...

You can download mods by searching for "Proton Bus mods" or using the in-game button. Installation requires a file manager, but don’t worry—the community is here to help.

Currently, advanced features are tested on a Samsung Galaxy S9, and basic functions on a J7 Prime. It is not recommended for older phones with less than 2 GB of RAM, though you may try installing manually via APK/OBB (with no guarantees). * New mod installer! Installing mods is now much easier: after downloading the mod file, simply share or open it with the game! This works for most buses and maps (Phase 3 maps only for this version).
* Shadow improvements (not perfect, but better).
* Button to disconnect and delete the premium account (as required by the platform).
