Dominoes, also known as dominos, use rectangular tiles to create various game scenarios. The standard set contains 28 tiles, but extended sets (double 9 and double 12) exist for games like Mexican Train and Chicken Foot. Different countries boast unique domino game variations: Muggins (England), Bergen (Scandinavia), Mexican Train (Mexico), and Matador (Spain).

The game's origins trace back to Song Dynasty China, with its introduction to Italy in the 18th century.

General Domino Rules:

Blocking Games: These typically involve two players using a double-six set. Tiles are drawn, and players take turns placing tiles to extend a line of matching numbers. The game ends when a player uses all their tiles or the game is blocked.

Scoring Games: Points are awarded for specific tile arrangements, moves, or emptying one's hand. Variations of the draw game often form the basis of scoring games. Examples include Muggins (targeting multiples of five), and Bergen (scoring with matching end numbers).

Draw Games: Allow players to draw tiles from the remaining stock before playing. The score depends on the remaining pips in the loser's hand and the stock.
